Well, your caloric intake will decrease dramatically just by cutting out the Fast food and massive kudos’s to you for making home cooked meals. Your meal sounds fabulous, but here are a few things you need to look for. Marinades often contain a bit of sugar, as well as the Teriyaki Sauce but a little, goes along way. Wild or brown rice is better than white, but it’s portion size that gets us all. We all want big meals but with less calories, so we often sacrifice flavor. But, I say, get the flavor in smaller portions, it’s healthier and we don’t have to sacrifice anything! A 4 oz. portion of protein, a cup of starch and double the veggie intake and you’re in! Seeing as you’re leaving the "windows of food" and taking it home for meals, you’re already 3/4 of the way there to impressive improvement for health, taste and your wallet and waist line will be happier! Good question, have a great Sunday!
